Women’s Legal Service Queensland offers free legal assistance for women who need help with domestic and family violence, family separation or divorce matters, parenting, child safety matters, and the protection of counselling notes in sexual assault cases.
Initially, the best way for clients to contact us is by calling our Helpline on 1800 957 957. Our team of specially trained female intake officers can support them to make an appointment with a lawyer, if appropriate, or provide information about other services. The WLSQ Helpline is staffed Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm.
