What is the RRR Priority Advice Line?
A dedicated priority phoneline for women in rural, regional or remote areas. Women can call 1800 457 117 from 9:30am to 1:30pm every Tuesday and request free legal assistance.
Where possible, women will receive priority assistance on Tuesdays.
Who can the RRR Priority Advice Line help?
Women in rural, regional or remote areas of Queensland seeking legal assistance in relation to domestic and family violence, family separation or divorce, parenting matters, child safety matters, and the protection of counselling notes in sexual assault matters.
How can the RRR Priority Advice Line help?
Callers to this line will not have to compete with metropolitan callers to the WLSQ Helpline and, where possible, will receive priority appointments between 9:30am to 1:30pm on Tuesdays.
Outside of these hours women calling from outside southeast Queensland can contact the WLSQ Helpline on 1800 957 957 between 9:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
How can services refer women to the RRR Priority Advice Line?
Services cannot provide warm referrals to the RRR Priority Advice Line.
Women in rural, regional and remote areas can call the RRR Priority Advice Line on 1800 457 117, 9:30am to 1:30pm on Tuesdays or call our Helpline on 1800 957 957, 9:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
