What are the WLSQ BWCC and SQCC legal advice clinics?
WLSQ provides free legal assistance to women at BWCC and SQCC during the above clinic times. Women who are incarcerated at either centre can meet with the WLSQ lawyer to discuss legal issues relating to domestic violence, family separation or divorce, parenting or child safety matters.

How can the WLSQ BWCC and SQCC legal advice clinics help?
The BWCC and SQCC legal advice clinics provide women with legal advice and assistance in the areas of domestic and family violence, family separation or divorce, or child safety matters.
WLSQ does not provide criminal law advice, including about breaches or alleged breaches of domestic violence orders.
How can services refer women to the WLSQ BWCC and SQCC legal advice clinics?
Services cannot provide warm referrals to the BWCC and SQCC legal advice clinics. They can request an appointment through offender development.
